About Me.

For 20 years David Haas has devoted time and energy to making his communities, schools, teams, non-profit organizations and the people around him better.

In our community he is a small business owner, a volunteer for Dundee Highlands Elementary School (DHES), a DHES PTC board member, a volunteer soccer coach for the Dundee Township Park District and supports so many local businesses!

In his business, David manages a growing team and revenue  that exceeded 2 million dollars. He sets goals and puts a plan together to exceed them, typically by breaking the goal down in to small parts. Miracle Method Chicago NW Metro is in its 10th year of service, provides full medical benefits and is launching a 401k in April 2023. For David - it's personal accountability and self-motivation that drives all of the action. Miracle Method Surface Refinishing operates in both residential and commercial settings, including hotels, schools and hospitals. His passion lays in marketing and communications which led to a decision to appear on WGN 720's popular radio show, Home Sweet Home Chicago. Tune in Saturdays 10am-1pm with David Hochberg.

David has a deep relationship with Northern Illinois University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and an MBA. He spent almost a decade working for NIU -- in the division of Outreach, the Alumni Association, the NIU Foundation and as an adjunct instructor for the Professional Sales Program in the College of Business.

His career started in hospitality working for Walt Disney World and Marriott International. You could say he is wired for customer service.

Over the years David has worked on numerous boards and committees including one international board. These include: the Villa Park Chamber of Commerce, the editorial advisory board for Illinois Meetings+Events Magazine, Sigma Alpha Epsilon National Convention Planning Committee (current), a staff member for the NIU Alumni Association Board of Directors, the International Association of Conference Centers and multiple client advisory boards in higher education.

As an experienced emcee and auctioneer, David has assisted non-profit organizations on some of their biggest nights of fundraising. His volunteer efforts and clients included Marriott International's Torch Relay, Ann & Robert H Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago, The Riverside Foundation, Anderson Animal Shelter, Naperville Area Humane Society, NIU's College of Business, Dundee Highlands Elementary School (current), Sigma Alpha Epsilon (current), and more.

David resides in West Dundee with his wonderful wife, Micaela. They have two children, Nolan and Zoey.
